Gene's Aqua Pro was founded in 1971 by Gene Frusher - a legend and pioneer in the scuba diving community. A couple years ago, Gene handed over the reigns to John Cotherman, a career firefighter, lifelong Lake Tenkiller resident, and PADI Instructor since the late 80s. We're committed to teaching divers, proud of the gear we sell and enjoy the trips we go on to explore new waters. But at the end of the day, it's the people that make this place so special. The folks below are who you can expect to see teaching classes, helping out with events, and running the shop.
