Taking into consideration that the tide was down about noon, and after fighting through the kelp jungle and swimming out to an area I could dive down, it turned out to be a nice area to dive. Lots of fish and plant life in this area with rocks and sandy bottoms at 30 feet. Visibility was great. A great place for a first time diver.
