09/15/2020 Brian (Avg: 2.81 Review) - Barge is in 20' of water at high tide at 330 degrees heading from the west side of the street's dead end. Recent dive of 4' visibility with a bottom that's easily stirred. Wreck is made up of collapsed wood substructure and a few of what appears to be 4' round hatches that have a nicely contrasting orange growth. Local residents complain of parking and the noise level of general conversation. Restraint parking is questionable but so far no issues as long as your gone well before business hours (opens at noon). Due east of the barge is what is believed to be a WW1 British wooden submarine located at the same depth. Overall a good dive, nothing technical, excellent for beginners.
07/21/2005 Lou (Avg: 3.56 Review) - Nice dive and easy to navigate to wreck. Large blackfish present and small lobsters. It is a residential area. Homes on one side and restaurant on other. I usually dive before the restaurant opens or after it's closed. I have never had problems parking. Easy shallow dive. Visibility varies.
