When we were there a local dive shop took me on my 'checkout dive' at a shore dive at a place called Coki Beach. Depth to 40-50' sand beach entry. No waves, and in a protected cove. Popular snorkel location and had probably hundreds of snorkelers, most of whom stayed in 3-8' of water and away from divers. Parking on street area, walk down a set of concrete steps directly onto the beach. Very easy access. I think this beach is in the travel guides (Fodor's etc). Can't remember if there's a local dive shop on site for equipment or air fills, but I know there was a building in which people were renting snorkel gear and we weren't the only one's diving either... FYI: this is a popular cruise boat tourist dumping spot.

08/21/2007 Scott and Melissa (Avg: 4.59 Review) - My boyfriend and I are advanced divers, and we visited Coki Beach on one of our stops during our Southern Caribbean cruise. It was our first non-California dive, and we LOVED it! It was absolutely amazing! We saw turtles and tons of beautiful fish. This is a GREAT site for a shore dive, but it doesn't get very deep. Great overall experience, though! Highly recommended!

03/16/2007 Mike Johnson (Avg: 2.86 Review) - It's easy to find, follow the signs. Coki Beach Dive Club has shop nearby and tank station at the beach, helpful staff! Small beach has food, chairs, people, etc.

02/04/2007 Dave K (Avg: 3.54 Review) - I dived here as part of a cruise ship excursion. The outfitters sucked, but the site was great. Very easy, lots of pretty reef and some cool critters. This is a popular beach for snorkelers, so very crowded until you get some depth and away from shore. Not sure we would do this site again, but it was worth it once for sure.

05/30/2006 Michael McGuire (Avg: 4.10 Review) - Very enjoyable dive, as it was my first. Instructor was very friendly and very helpful, and took his time to make sure we were all together. The visibility great, truly spectacular, awe inspiring, adrenaline stim. Recommend Coki Dive club-- thumbs-up!

03/29/2005 Gary Harmon (Avg: 3.41 Review) - Best place we found on St. Thomas to snorkel. Lots of fish. Right next door to a marine aquarium. They feed the fish at the aquarium and the fish are free to come and go so I think Coki Beach benefits from this. Love2snorkel

12/10/2003 Andrew Stokes (Avg: 4.25 Review) - A very easy way to dive. Drop in on a nice beach full of people then your in a great dive site. Saves a lot of time getting in and out of a boat. The people are great there and very patient.

10/27/2003 Peter Foerst (Avg: 4.62 Review) - Nice low traffic site. Nothing fancy, just good diving.

08/13/2003 Dean Ray (Avg: 3.15 Review) - I am an advanced diver, and shore diving off Coki beach is not the way to go. There was what appeared to be several hundred snorkelers in the water where we made our entry. We brought our own regs, but the rest of the equipment was theres. All the gear was pretty good except for the fins. They were all sizes mixed up in boxes, and they were all short in length, and torn.

07/06/2003 Anonymous (Avg: 4.60 Review) - Really enjoyed this dive. It's easy in, easy out. Coki Beach Dive Club has equipment on the beach ready to go. They are great to work with and we go out with them every time we visit St. Thomas!

05/06/2003 Dan Sealy (Avg: 4.00 Review) - This was my first dive site when I took a resort course while on a cruise. We came back twice since being certified and my wife, kids, and I have dived this site. Warm water, great vis, lots of life, easy entry, and I highly recommend the Ckki Beach Dive shop that is right there on the beach.
