Snorkeling and Scuba Diving at Airplane Wreck
Airplane Wreck (and Wet Suit City at the next site) are well worth the drive. You'll travel through some very scenic countryside and eventually land at the Sunset Waters Beach Resort (formerly the Coral Cliff Resort). The beach is for their guests, but you'll be welcome to pass through for the dive. They also have a dive shop at the end of the road by their beach. Drop by to say hi, and to let them know you'll be diving in the area.
Northwest of Willemstad, travel 12.3 km West on Weg Naar Westpunt from the Weg Naar Hato intersection to San Pedro. Turn left to head toward Soto. Travel 8.3 km to reach the intersection in Soto shown on below.

Made a point to drive up here from Habitat to dive. Super friendly folks at Sunset Divers Dive Shop. The airplane is really nothing to see. Brought our own tanks, drove right down the steep hill to the dive shop to unload the tanks and gear, and then parked. Suited up on the bench and walked right into the lagoon. They actually have wheel barrels for you to get your gear to the waters-edge with benches there to suit up that much closer. Super easy to navigate in and out of the lagoon between the breakers which means no surf entry since it's a lagoon and flat calm.
